惡莫大於縱己之欲，禍莫大於言人之非。
There is nothing worse than abusing one’s desire.
There is nothing more disastrous than talking behind other’s back.
勿以小嫌疏至戚，勿以新怨忘舊恩。
Do not be distance with one’s closest relatives due to a little fault.
Do not forget a favor that you owe due to recent resentment with him/her.
攻人之惡勿太嚴，要思其堪受。
When one attacks other’s faults do not do it overly severe, one needs to think whether or not he/she can take it.
教人以善勿過高，當使其可從。
When one teaches others morality do not set the standard too high, one needs to be mindful of whether or not he/she can comply with the dogmas.
無心者公，無我者明。
Those who are without a prejudiced mind can act with justice. Those who are without self can see things clearly.
